There’s definitely more to know than what you’ll find in a Google search! We’ll talk through neighborhoods, commute times, property taxes, cost of living, new construction, traffic patterns, local favorites, and all those little day-to-day details that help you picture what life will actually feel like here.
5. What should I know before moving to the area?
Absolutely! Plenty of our relocating buyers purchase before they’re able to be here in person. We can do live video showings, send detailed walkthroughs, point out the things listing photos don’t always show, and help you feel as informed and comfortable as possible before making a decision.
4. Can you help me buy before I move, or sight-unseen?
They’re both wonderful, but they offer very different lifestyles! The Triangle gives you Raleigh, Durham, major employers, universities, restaurants, and lots of growing communities. Wilmington and the coast have a more relaxed pace with beaches, water, and that coastal feel. We’ll help you explore both and figure out which one feels most like home.
3. What’s it like living in the Triangle vs. the coast?
There isn’t one “best” neighborhood — it’s all about finding the one that feels right for you. We’ll talk through your budget, commute, lifestyle, schools if they’re important to you, proximity to shopping and restaurants, and whether you’re looking for something more established, suburban, walkable, coastal, or tucked away. Then we’ll help you narrow it down from there.
